Megan decided to have her baby while we were gone yesterday. Deb took her daughter to see the baby goats and baby chicks and called me to tell me about the new kid. Luna (our Great Pyr LGD) decided with Gretchen's kid that she needed to protect the kids from their mothers, and that's exactly what she did with Megan's. Deb moved Megan and kid to the small pen away from Luna and the others so they could settle down and get to know each other. It didn't take long before the kid was nursing and everything was fine.BTW, it's another buckling...
