Our newest goat

We have acquired a new goat! Thanks to Ashleigh in Comer! Her name is Willow and she is a Nigerian Dwarf. Hopefully Ben can take care of business so we will have babies and milk in August, but it's awfully late in the breeding season. We'll have to wait and see. Our plans are to hand milk her for family milk, cheese, yogurt, ice cream, and maybe even some butter. She's such a super friendly goat, she actually prefers to hang out with people over her fainting goat pasture mates. She's a fun goat to have around, and we're really enjoying having her.

Luna is growing up. She doesn't look like a puppy anymore! She'll be a year old in April. She likes to put her front paws up on the gate to say hi to me and she's eye level with me now. And talk about fluff! She is one furry dog. She enjoys guarding her goats, and she does a good job at it.
